Insurance Benefits Employer Training (2 day class)

The South Carolina Public Employee Benefit Authority (PEBA) conducts a comprehensive two day employer training seminar on insurance benefits for benefits administrators and other personnel. Our Field Services team conducts this training in small, informal sessions that encourage group participation and welcome any questions or comments. Each day begins at 9:30 a.m. and ends at 4:30 p.m. Day one of training includes information on when to offer insurance to eligible employees, the insurance programs available and how to administer benefits when an employee has a change in status, such as unpaid leave or a reduction of hours. Day two of training includes information on the tools and resources needed to administer the insurance programs, such as Employee Benefits Services (EBS), MyBenefits and others.
