Insurance Employer Training: Retirement, Disability and Death Benefits

A half-day employer training class for benefits administrators and other personnel on counseling employees about their retiree insurance benefits. The class also includes information on administering insurance benefits upon the death of an employee. The class, held at PEBAs office in Columbia, begins at 9:30 a.m. and ends at noon.

You will need to provide your own training materials. The PowerPoint Presentation for this training is available at www.peba.sc.gov/itrainingresources.html. The PEBA Benefits Administrator Manual and Insurance Benefits Guide are also available online at www.peba.sc.gov, but are not required for the training. If you are unable to attend, please email Field Services at fieldservices.insurance@peba.sc.gov.
