At PEBA, we understand that you are an important part of the benefits we administer and that you have many responsibilities as a result. We are committed to providing you with the tools and resources necessary to make your part of the benefits administration process as quick and easy as possible.

 

Employee Benefits Services

Employee Benefits Services (EBS) is a secure, online site through which you can access PEBA insurance benefits’ enrollment database. EBS gives you instant access to your subscribers’ insurance enrollment information and your group’s reporting data and billing reports. If you register for EBS’s Online Enrollment System, you can enroll your subscribers, view their benefits, make changes to their coverage and approve changes your subscribers make using MyBenefits. The Online Enrollment System will allow you to submit enrollment changes for your subscribers.

 

To use EBS you will need to complete and send PEBA the following forms:

 

If your group uses a third-party enroller (TPE), these forms must also be completed:

 

Once you’ve completed the forms and have been approved, a confidential user ID will be sent to you in the mail. A PIN number will follow in a separate mailing. A detailed description of EBS and an explanation of its many functions can be found in the Benefits Administrator Manual.

Use our Benefits Administrator Manual

PEBA publishes an updated Benefits Administrator Manual on our website every calendar year. This manual provides you with information about just about anything related to the administration of PEBA’s insurance programs. We produce this resource for you, so please let us know if this publication isn’t meeting your needs by reaching out to our Employer Services Department.

 

Health Hub

Our goal is to provide benefits administrators and wellness coordinators with resources to access digitally and share with your employees. In collaboration with BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina, the third party claims administrator for the State Health Plan, PEBA created the PEBA Health Hub that provides an ever-expanding collection of online resources you can download and use to support whatever health issue you’d like to spotlight for your employees.  We’re talking posters, newsletters, fliers, podcasts, digital images and even recipes. The materials cover a variety of issues such as men’s and women’s health, cold and flu season, weight management and dental health.
