State Health Plan primary members can receive the new COVID vaccine through PEBA Perks at no member cost. The new COVID vaccine is not a booster. It is a vaccine that has been updated to target the most common COVID variant, similar to how the flu shot is updated every year. This updated COVID vaccine is available to those who have received one in the past from any manufacturer, as well as those who have never been vaccinated.

Members can get vaccines from a network pharmacy for a $0 copayment. If a member receives a vaccine in a network doctor's office, the cost of the vaccine and administration fee will be paid in full. Any associated office visit charges will follow regular Plan coverage rules.
