PEBA’s online member portals, MyBenefits  and Member Access give you access to your insurance and retirement accounts, allow you to view and update your personal information and conduct online transactions. We encourage members to submit transactions and documentation through the portals.

We offer phone, video and walk-in appointments. You will receive the same service regardless of the type of consultation you choose. You can also call us from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday at 803.737.6800 or 888.260.9430. Calls are answered in the order in which they are received.

Phone consultations

A phone consultation might be a good option if you are planning to retire soon and want to receive a full counseling and planning session. At your scheduled appointment time, a benefits counselor will call you at the phone number you provide. Your one-hour consultation will be tailored to address your needs.

Video consultations

A video consultation might be a good option if you have questions related to PEBA-administered benefits that have not been resolved. You will connect with a benefits counselor through Microsoft Teams video chat. Your one-hour consultation will be tailored to address your needs.

Walk-in consultations

In-person visits at our 202 Arbor Lake Drive location can have longer wait times, and we recommend you arrive by 4 p.m. If you are experiencing symptoms such as fever, cough or shortness of breath, please do not come to an in-person consultation.

How to schedule

You can book appointments up to 21 days in advance. If there aren’t any times available, check again the following day, as we release new appointments at midnight each day. Visit our benefits consultation page to select a date and time for your appointment. You will receive a confirmation email with further details about your appointment.
